Driveway Pressure Washing in Nichols Hills, OK 73116
Pressure washing an exposed aggregate driveway and pool deck at a Nichols Hills home.
The driveway mid-job, with the cleaned concrete in the foreground and our hose still on the drive.
The job
This Nichols Hills homeowner hired Wash Dynasty to pressure wash their concrete driveway and the pool deck out back. Both are exposed aggregate concrete, the speckled finish common on Nichols Hills properties, bordered by brick edging on the driveway and natural stone around the pool.
Nichols Hills is full of mature trees, which is part of its charm, but all that shade keeps concrete damp. Over time leaves, pollen and organic growth stain the surface and settle into the texture of exposed aggregate, turning it dark and uneven.
How we cleaned it
Exposed aggregate needs a careful approach. Too much pressure in one spot can loosen the stones, while too little leaves grime packed between them. We cleaned the driveway with a rotary surface cleaner in even, overlapping passes, then detailed the edges along the brick borders, lawn and planting beds by hand.
Out back, we cleaned the pool deck around the stone waterfall feature and rinsed carefully so debris and cleaning solution stayed out of the pool and landscaping.
The pool deck around the stone waterfall, freshly cleaned.
The result
A bright, even driveway from the street to the house and a clean, safer pool deck, with the aggregate texture showing clearly again instead of hiding under a dark film.
